Oil Collection Tank

A grease trap or grease separator is, in its simplest terms, a device that prevents solid waste and oil in wastewater channels (PVC pipes) from entering the municipal sewer system.

Grease traps have a wide range of usage areas. These are Shopping Malls, Restaurants, Hotels, Bakeries, Dining Halls, Hospitals, Plazas, Production Facilities, Slaughterhouses, Educational Institutions, Sites, Holiday Villages etc.

Grease traps can be located inside or outside the establishment. They are generally used under the kitchen sink, which is called under the counter in small establishments (cafes, small restaurants). In slightly larger establishments, since the size of the grease separator does not fit under the sink, they are used above the floor in a suitable place in the kitchen. In even larger establishments, they are used buried underground outside the establishment.

One (1) litre of waste oil can pollute 1 million litres of drinking water. Used vegetable waste oils constitute 25% of domestic waste water pollution. Waste oils have ecotoxic properties; they pollute the environment they are in and harm living things in the environment. They are storage and service tanks made for the purpose of storing flammable components such as fuel and oil underground. They are generally preferred in fuel stations.
